Product Description
Common use
Bimatoprost is a prostaglandin analog, used mainly to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It’s relatively safe and very effective eye drops, that have several additional positive effects, making the drug very popular in cosmetics. Bimatoprost reduces the intraocular pressure, reduces fat around eyes and is believed to stimulate the growth of the eyelashes.

Dosage and direction
Eye drops Bimatoprost are applied once daily to the eye. You don’t have to apply the drops to both eyes, only to the one that needs treatment. It’s preferable to use Bimatoprost in the evening. You shouldn’t overdose the medication. To adjust the dosage, please, consult your doctor.

Precautions
Thoroughly wash your hands before applying the eye drops to the eye. Do not stop taking the medication without a consultation with your doctor. Tell your doctor if you’re allergic to Bimatoprost, have eye inflammation, use any other medicines or have an eye injury or infection.

Contraindications
It’s not recommended to use Bimatoprost eye drops in case you are hypersensitive to the drug. Do not use the drug if you are allergic to it, if you are pregnant or have eye surgery or injury.

Possible side effect
Adverse effects of Bimatoprost usually manifest as blurred vision or unexpected hair growth. You may also feel eye discomfort. Bimatoprost often causes thickening of eyelashes, darkening of the iris and other side effects.

Drug interaction
You should tell your doctor about all medical solutions you take at the same time that you use Bimatoprost. Vitamins, herbal products and nutritional supplements can interact with the drug, changing its effect. You should also note that soft contact lenses can absorb the medication. To prevent those effects, please, do not wear contact lenses 15 minutes after you apply the eye drops. Wait at least 5 minutes after you use Bimatoprost, if you have to use other eye drops.

Missed dose
Try not to miss the dose of the medication, because the maximum effect is achieved in case Bimatoprost is applied regularly. If you have missed the dose, continue using the drug as you would normally do.

Overdose
In case of overdose, please, contact your doctor for help. If you become sensitive to light or get pink eyes, seek medical attention immediately.

Storage
Keep Bimatoprost in a dark place at room temperatures. Avoid heat and moisture. Store Bimatoprost away from children.
